APPLICATIONS

Applications

Two primary applications are Cell Rupture and Homogenisation.

Cell Rupture

SFP’s general experience in this field of application is that a single stage homogenisation process is adequate and that the style of the valve makes minimal difference to the effectiveness of the disruption. It is our observation that as percentage cell content increases in the suspension that the disruption yield is likely to drop.
